Can 2DAY ship Korean products to the United States?
Yes. The United States is one of the countries we ship to, along with Canada, Japan, China, Australia, the UK, France, Singapore and more.
How are US duties and taxes handled?
It depends on what is in the parcel. Food, cosmetics, electronics and products containing copper, stainless steel, steel or aluminium ship DDP: duties, VAT and the customs clearance fee are paid in Korea before the parcel leaves, which lowers the risk of an unexpected bill on delivery and waives FDA processing fees for food and cosmetics. DDP adds a ₩5,000 courier handling fee. All other items ship DAP, with duties settled on arrival.
Which international couriers does 2DAY use?
UPS, EMS, DHL and FedEx. The courier is chosen from the size of your parcel and where it is going. You can follow the tracking in your orders once it has shipped.
Can I check international shipping costs before ordering?
Yes, with the shipping calculator. Enter the destination and weight to see an estimate. The final fee is set after packing, from the actual and volumetric weight of your parcel, and you pay it only then.
Can I combine multiple Korean orders into one box?
Yes. Items from different stores, or from orders placed on different days, can leave Korea as a single package. We wait until everything has arrived at our warehouse and pack it together — or, if you prefer, send some items first.
Do I have to deal with customs?
Sometimes — the rules are set by your country. Customs may ask the recipient for extra documents. Cosmetics, food and products containing batteries can take longer because of import restrictions or inspections in some countries.
